Having children is one of the best excuses to really get to know the city and state in which you live! We’ve called Los Angeles home since 2002 and we had never been to The Huntington – until now! Technically in “San Marino” but looking more like Pasadena to us, the official name of this place of beauty is The Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens. We took the kids to explore the gardens AFTER we took a spin class. We had no idea there was 120 acres of horticulture!!!! We could barely walk when we left! We were there for about four fours, but it felt more like months and months. It was breathtaking, though. The best botanical garden we’ve ever been to! We were transported to Japan, China, the desert and so much more!
And, since we knew Momma Perez was not going to join us, we surprised her with something special.
