We’re going to choose to ignore some past lyrical evidence to the contrary, as Eminem has come forward in support of gay marriage!
Em is on the promotional trail for his new record, Recovery, which the more we hear about, the more we think it is going to be a tamer version of Slim Shady discs of the past.
In one interview, Em was put on the chopping block for his “gay-bashing lyrics” and asks if he would like to see gay marriage be approved in Michigan, where he lives. Em replied:
“I think if two people love each other, then what the hell? I think that everyone should have the chance to be equally miserable, if they want. “
Well, well! We didn’t really expect that. Did they teach you tolerance in rehab too, Em?
Now, if the last person you would ever think in the world is for gay marriage, we can’t possibly see what is holding up the rest of the country!
