Things just aren’t going Usher‘s way these days!
His 2004 release, Confessions, sold 20 million copies worldwide.
But, this year’s Here I Stand has only sold 2 million worldwide to date.
BOMB!
We doubt the new stuff will fare as well as the ’04 mega hit!
And, industry insiders revealed to us that he couldn’t even sell out his recent concert in the NYC.
About 1500 tickets were left unsold by the time he took the stage at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Yes, a “Ballroom.” Not even one of the City’s larger venues!
Good luck with your next album, Usher.
You’re going to need to come out with much better shiz to compete with Ne-Yo and Chris Brown who are totally ruling the kingdom you used to rule!
