This is actually so crazy!
The Santa Clause is a Christmas classic. The Tim Allen-led film is always at the top of streaming and rental charts every winter. Unfortunately, that has NOT translated to large residuals for the movie’s stars! Huh???
David Krumholtz, who played Bernard the Head Elf in the first two films and in the 2022 Disney+ series, revealed to Page Six last week that the amount of money he makes from the franchise has actually decreased over the years.

He detailed:
“They’re minimal because the movie plays so much. This is how residuals work: every time it plays, you make less. It’s a grade scale.”
What?? That makes no sense!
While his first residual checks were “good,” he now makes around “$150 bucks a year” from the franchise. WHAT?! That’s shocking! The actor said he makes the most residuals from his recent appearance in Oppenheimer, teasing when asked how much:
“That’s none of your business! What kind of question is that? It’s $12.73. It’s enough to buy a hot dog in New York.”
Hah!
