Due to its overwhelming critical and commercial success, The Social Network is being prepped for a theatrical re-release on January 7th in about 600 theaters all over the country – just days before its debut on DVD January 11th!
Jeff Blake, Sony Pictures’ chairman of Worldwide Marketing and Distribution, explains:
├óΓé¼┼ôAt the box office, this film showed true staying power, grossing more than four times its opening weekend gross ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ a rare accomplishment when the average for wide releases last year was below three times its opening weekend gross.”

That IS impressive!
We definitely think it deserves a second round in theaters!
