Some may guess Jay-Z with his huge record sales, pricey concert tickets, clothing line, and book sales, but surprise surprise! The wealthiest artist in Hip-Hop isn’t Jay…
It’s Sean “Diddy” Combs with estimated earnings of $475 million.
With his Sean John clothing line, Bad Boy Worldwide record label, and his Ciroc vodka, Diddy is definitely bringing in the big bucks.
But don’t fret, Jay-Z fans. The rapper hit the number two spot with his earnings of $450 million.
Wowsa.
Dr. Dre is the third wealthiest Hip-Hop artist, making $125 million from his record sales, along with sales from his proteges Eminem and 50 Cent. The guy obviously knows how to make a star.
Speaking of which, 50 Cent rounds out the top five, tying with Cash Money Records co-founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams, with $100 million. He reaped a nine-figure paycheck from the sale of Vitamin Water to Coca-Cola. Dayum!!!
