The Ultimatum Star Speaks Out After Nick & Vanessa Lachey Kicked Him Off The Show Over SHOCKING Note!

One of the contestants from The Ultimatum has some thoughts about their shocking exit from the show! Warning: If you have not watched the new season yet, there are spoilers ahead!

Fans know the Netflix reality series has real-life couples enter “trial” marriages with a new partner before deciding whether they are ready to get engaged to their actual person by the end. One of those couples who joined the experience for Season 4 was Jebin John and Alex Johnson, who had been dating for six years before she gave her boyfriend an ultimatum about getting engaged. While on the show, Alex fully leaned into the process and formed a connection with fellow contestant Killian Grondin. However, Jebin wasn’t happy about it, especially because he hadn’t been able to form a connection with anyone else!

He tried to pass a note about his feelings to Alex in secret but got caught by production. Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey later forced Alex to read the letter out loud to the group. As for what it said? Because she embraced the experiment with Killian, Jebin told her he wouldn’t marry her:

“I’m really not sure what you came here to do. You already had two dates with Killian. Then you look me dead in the face and say you’re falling for someone. Up until this point, this experience has made me feel less confident in you. It’s clear you have something else in your mind. I’m not the focus for you. I don’t want you to make me look dumber than you already have. You ruined it. You ruined everything. I want to say things can get better, but this time you did it. I honestly hope to God you guys weren’t touching on camera. I’m not f**king doing this. Who knows what else you’ve done? You’re into him. I don’t even know. There is no way we are getting married.”

WTF…

Nick and Vanessa are not down for the disrespect, though! The 98 Degrees member called out Jebin for not taking things seriously, saying:

“Communication is paramount in this entire experience, I think you’re all aware of that. But that communication, frankly, has to happen on camera. That’s part of this experience.”

Vanessa then pointed out to Alex that Jebin is a walking red flag, saying:

“The way that you spoke to her, you’ve been with this girl for six years. What if she said that to you? You’d be out. I feel like this needs to be a massive wake-up call. You should never be spoken to that way.”

She can say that again! Furthermore, Vanessa felt Jebin wasn’t ready for the experience:

“Jebin, I think I can speak for the room about the clarity you’ve given us on you not being ready to be involved in this experiment, and I think that it’s going to negatively impact the rest of the group, if I’m being honest.”

With that, they kicked both Jebin and Alex off the show! And it is a first for The Ultimatum! They’ve never forced a couple to leave!Alex has not fully addressed the situation yet. Jebin took to TikTok on Wednesday to speak out about what happened, but not apologize for they way he spoke to his girlfriend! Nope, he poked fun at the whole situation! When a social media user commented that he should have “snatched the note and ate it,” he responded:

“I ain’t gonna lie, I should have Superman-dove across the table, grabbed the note, put it in my pants and then looked at Nick and been like, ‘What you going to do now?’ But I knew that the producers, they probably had a picture because they knew I was going to do something crazy. So I decided to hold my horses and keep a straight face, so they couldn’t clip me up.”

Jebin then replied to another comment that the show “did him dirty,” saying:

“They act like I’m a bad person. It would’ve been cool if I was still on too.”

Umm… Again, we wonder…. Why would anyone think it’s okay to talk to their girlfriend that way? Especially on a show he signed up for and knew what they were getting into beforehand? All because she had more connections than him? NEXT!
