If Roman Polanski had this kind of luck, he wouldn’t have had to flee the country.
Rapper Lil’ Wayne will not be receiving his jail sentencing today as the courthouse where he was scheduled to appear had a fire!
At around 10:30 this morning, a fire started in the basement of the Manhattan Criminal Court building sent smoke throughout the whole place and the building has been evacuated. Though they got the fire under control, the damage has cause the courthouse to be shut down for the rest of the day.
So now Lil Wayne must wait until tomorrow – unless of course, the universe has other plans. At this point, we wouldn’t be surprised if the jail went up in flames too! Or the whole island of Manhattan!
