Dayum!
With two such strong personalities like Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O’Donnell on The View at the same time, we expected some strong arguments. We just thought they’d be on the air.

According to witnesses from last Thursday’s episode taping, the real fireworks went off during the commercial break.
Insiders say Rosie told Whoopi beforehand that the subject of spanking your child was one on which she had strong opinions and that she didn’t want to be cut off.
But as the moderator, it was Whoopi who was told by producers in her earpiece to cut to commercial because they had run out of time.
When she did, Rosie went after her, picking up the mic so the entire studio audience would hear her tell Whoopi that she “didn’t appreciate” it.
Whoopi apparently tried to back off the argument, saying it wasn’t the time for it, but Rosie kept pushing.
That’s when Whoopi reportedly shouted:
“F**k it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don’t want to listen. If you want to go there, Rosie, I will dammit. I’m really sick of your s**t!”
That’s when it’s said a hush fell over the entire studio.
New co-host Rosie Perez broke the tension, saying they were all going to blow up Twitter now.

Is this really how the relationships behind the scenes are working now?
We hear that Rosie (O’Donnell, not Perez, obvi) has basically taken over the entire program but has also displayed some diva behavior.
She reportedly refuses to be spoken to by anyone but her co-hosts.

In fact, it was her refusal to wear an earpiece that kept her in the dark on the segment running long – leading her to blaming Whoopi for interrupting her.
If this is really how things are going backstage, it’s only a matter of time before tensions explode on the air. And that’s something we’re going to want to View.
