The Wanted‘s Nathan Sykes has to drop out of the band indefinitely because of a few triple-tragic throat problems.
And it makes us want to CRY!
One of El Lay’s finest surgeons will slice his way into Nate’s throat tomorrow which is also, get this, his birthday!!
Aww! A scalpel to the trachea is pretty much the worst birthday present ever!!
The band released a statement hours ago on Facebook:
“Our lil Nath has to go in for an operation on his throat, on his birthday to make him better. So please join us in wishing our brother and our friend well. Get well soon Nath, we love ya!”
Apparently the outpouring of support for “lil Nath” was FIERCE, too, because the band quickly followed up on Twitter:
The boyz plan to continue their promotional tour one man down; they say Nate will take an “unforeseen hiatus” in the meanwhile to recover!!
Hopefully tomorrow’s operation goes perfectly — we don’t know what we’d do without his angelic pipes!
