An $85 million opening weekend isn’t enough for Fox, which is whining about “losing” $28.7 million to the 4 million people who watched the pirated version of Wolverine.
As if anyone can prove that those 4 million would have seen it in the theaters at all or that some of those 4 million didn’t also pay to go see the film on the big screen.
As if!
Wolverine has had the best opening of any movie this year.
The point is the movie is hugely popular, illegally, legally, and somewhere in-between.
