Things Look Up On Cyber Monday!

Things are looking up for online retailers this season!

While this year’s Black Friday has been generally hailed mediocre at best, yesterday’s Cyber Monday touted even better sales than in 2008.

Although the online shopping day was expected to do well, sales ended up exceeding expectations.

According to reports, traffic on the fashion search engine ShopStyle was up a whopping 40% from last year, with click-throughs to retailers up nearly 50%.

Impressive and encouraging statistics!

ShopStyle founder and executive VP Andy Moss said, “Last year, Cyber Monday was our biggest day or close to it, and I think we’re seeing the same trend again. More and more retailers are doing more and more offers on Cyber MOnday, and it’s a compelling time to shop.”

Apparently!

Retailers across the board reflected this view.

Congrats to online retailers on this uplifting news!
