Uh oh. The tooth fairy is about to go bankrupt!
Because this 17-year-old in India just had 232 TEETH removed from his mouth in a six-hour operation!
What the WHAT?!?
Ashik Gavai now has 28 teeth (which is 4 fewer than a normal adult has) after doctors discovered he was suffering from composite odontoma, a condition caused by a benign tumor in his mouth that results in additional teeth growing.
A molar tooth in Ashik├óΓé¼Γäós lower jaw had grown HUNDREDS of smaller teeth!
Oral surgeons removed them one by one this week and set a new world record for most teeth pulled out of someone├óΓé¼Γäós mouth in a single sitting!
Um├óΓé¼┬ª congratulations?
Dr. Sudanda Dhiware spoke about the operation afterwards, admitting:

“I have never seen anything like it in all my years of practice. We were so excited by it. And it was really fun for us to be able to extract them all, one by one.├óΓé¼┬¥

Based on that photo, we├óΓé¼Γäóre not sure if Ashik found it all that fun!
