The woman accusing Thomas Ravenel of sexually assaulting her mother has “dubious motivations,” according to the attorney of the Southern Charm star.
As we reported, real estate agent Ashley Perkins alleged that her mother Debbie Holloway Perkins was assaulted by the former South Carolina State Treasurer at the end of their date in December 2015.

After her mother returned that evening acting “very withdrawn,” Ashley said Debbie revealed that Ravenel “├óΓé¼╦£stuck his penis in my face.'” Ashley ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ who did not witness the alleged assault ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ also accused Ravenel of holding her mom’s arms back and sticking his fingers inside her vagina and anus.
It’s reported Debbie signed a non-disclosure agreement with Ravenel in June 2016 and received $200,000 for her silence — but Ashley, who did not sign the NDA, felt the urge to speak up again after seeing a commercial for Ravenel’s Bravo show.
In response to Ashley’s claims, Ravenel’s attorney, Richard P. Terbrusch, told People:
“My client enjoys a certain degree of fame and unfortunately has become ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ unfairly ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ a target for an individual who has, in my opinion, dubious motivations.”
Ashley, on the other hand, doesn’t think her motivations are anything but “pure.” She told the publication:
“I want to see Thomas Ravenel removed from Bravo and not just because of what he allegedly did to my mother but because of the negative comments he posts on a regular basis. Also, the way Thomas treats women on the show Southern Charm is totally disrespectful to women everywhere and promotes an antiquated attitude of the ├óΓé¼╦£good ole boys’ network and ├óΓé¼╦£boys will be boys’ which is too commonly accepted. I want to see not only Thomas removed from the show but for Bravo to apologize to the audience for allowing Thomas to remain on the show with his reckless, threatening, and demeaning attitude to women.”
