Eye of the tiger?!!?! Nay…this doc wants the TEETH of the tiger!
Veterinarian Dr. Robert Gaddis was charged with the unenviable task of yanking out a Malay tiger’s tooth in a root canal at the Birmingham Zoo.
Yep, that’s right…YANKING OUT A TIGER’S TOOTH!
During a routine checkup, zookeepers noticed that one of Kumar‘s teeth was broken.
Instead of fixing it, they asked Gaddis to remove it so the tooth could be preserved.
60 minutes and a BOATLOAD of anesthesia later, Kumar’s tooth is gone and Gaddis still has his limbs.
Talk about a nerve-racking experience!
