Heartbreaking news.
Marcel Johnson, the husband and father of five who bravely documented his battle with stage 4 stomach cancer on TikTok, has died at the far-too-young age of 32.

His wife Taylor broke the news on Tuesday, telling her social media followers he passed away on Monday. In a devastating Instagram post, she wrote:
“November 2 2026 @ 445pm. I lost a whole entire half of me. He fought so hard for so long. He was so tired & exhausted & in so much pain. Yesterday the only words Marcel said all day were to me & Dedric and it was “I’m ready to go” and that was in the morning. He still fought to hang on all day so we just got a bit more time. I truly don’t even have words right now. I feel like this can’t be real life. How can this be real f[**]king life. I thought I was going to wake up and he was still going to be here beside me. I love him with my whole entire being and life will absolutely never ever be the same.”
Marcel was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer in August 2025. He shared his journey with his social media followers, chronicling his time in chemotherapy and his decision to quit treatment in September 2026.
In one clip he even shared how he explained the news to his children, calling the cancer a monster in his belly. Watch (below):

His last uploaded TikTok shared the powerful message for people to reevaluate their lifestyle choices with a video showing the dramatic bodily changes he endured after his diagnosis:
