TikToker Kay Dudley Hospitalized After 105 Degree Fever! And They STILL Don't Know What's Wrong!

TikToker Kay Dudley Hospitalized After 105 Degree Fever! OMG!

Kay Dudley recently had a terrifying trip to the hospital!

The TikTok star is known for her lifestyle content, which she creates alongside husband Tay Dudley and her three kids. Tay and Kay share daughters Sutton, 5, and Ellie, 2, while Kay also has another daughter Kinsley, 13, from a past relationship. They’re often all happy-go-lucky and a real uplifting family to watch — but on Tuesday the social media star shared a scary story.

On the couple’s TikTok page, they shared a video of Kay taking her temperature and crying before they go to the ER. The temperature is enough to scare anyone — she had a 104.8 degree fever! OMG! According to the caption, it came on super suddenly, too:

“We were having a normal morning, playing with the babies, cleaning, etc, and Kay started feeling dizzy. She sat down and it got worse. Soon she had a 105° temperature and felt so unwell. Soon we decided to go to the emergency room.”

Good call to go ahead and take her to the doctor!

The post continued, explaining that the emergency room workers were super concerned for the mom of three:

“They let us skip the line because they worried that Kay might have sepsis. They started running tests and found that she had pneumonia and was not doing well. They wanted her to stay the night, so I went back and helped put the babies down and went back to advocate for Kay. She isn’t recovering yet, so we are doing IV antibiotics and fluids for now and are waiting to see if that helps.”

We will update when we know more ???? backstory ::: We were having a normal morning, playing with the babies, cleaning, etc, and Kay started feeling dizzy. She sat down and it got worse. Soon she had a 105° temperature and felt so unwell. Soon we decided to go to the emergency room. I called family to watch the babies and we drove there. They let us skip the line because they worried that Kay might have sepsis. They started running tests and found that she had pneumonia and was not doing well. They wanted her to stay the night, so I went back and helped put the babies down and went back to advocate for Kay. She isn’t recovering yet, so we are doing IV antibiotics and fluids for now and are waiting to see if that helps. ???? #kayandtayofficial #couples #relationships #pregnant #postpartum

In another update about Kay, the family explained she was fighting off “something” — but they didn’t really know what. Luckily, she started doing better, though:

“We have been doing IV antibiotics because the staff can tell that her body is fighting off an infection. They’ve already seen pneumonia in her lung, but have been doing additional checks to make sure it’s not elsewhere. Her white blood cell count is too high. Which means she’s actively fighting something.”

They said at the time they’re continuing to run tests, but no answers just yet:

“So they have been running multiple blood tests to see if it will go down. It hasn’t gone down yet, but we are hoping now that we’ve had a few rounds of antibiotics, that it will go down today. If it does, we may be able to switch to pill-form antibiotics! We will know more later! Thank you for the kind words!”

As of yesterday, Kay is still receiving antibiotics and is on an IV. Thankfully she seems to be fighting off whatever infection she has — but it’s just horrifying that they don’t really know what’s going on. A 105 degree fever out of nowhere is crazy!

In the final update they’ve shared at the moment, they revealed Kay’s white blood cell count has started to drop — something Tay attributes to videos and pictures of their little ones helping her “get better”:

“The hardest part is not having the babies! We brought Sutton the first night because Kay really didn’t want to be without her, but that brought it’s own challenges. So we’ve had family watching them at home! I think the videos and pictures of the babies are helping Kay get better!”

Ellie’s “I love you mama” song! ???????? backstory ::: The other day I took Kay to the emergency room because she had a really high fever, and was feeling really sick. When we got there, her blood pressure was really high as well as her heart rate, so they immediately got her back and starting running tests. The doctors determined that Kay had pneumonia, and possibly sepsis, so they admitted her. She was given IV antibiotics and for a while her body didn’t seem to respond to them, but finally her white blood count has started to come down which is a good sign. We are continuing antibiotics, and will be rechecking to make sure that her tests continue to look more normal! ❤️ The hardest part is not having the babies! We brought Sutton the first night because Kay really didn’t want to be without her, but that brought it’s own challenges. So we’ve had family watching them at home! I think the videos and pictures of the babies are helping Kay get better! ???? #kayandtayofficial #couples #relationships #postpartum #pregnant
