After an incredible run on Dancing With The Stars, Kirstie Alley was able to shed 90 pounds, then 10 more to make it an even 100.
Recently, the actress told sources that her dress size shrunk from a size 14 to a size 4 as a result of her weight loss, explaining:
“Before Dancing with the Stars, I bought these dresses from size 14 to 4… all the same dress, and I said, ‘You know what I really want? I really wanna be in this dress in a 4′”
Project Runway host Tim Gunn says otherwise!
“I think she’s between an 8 and a 10,” the fashion consultant told a Florida radio host.
It may not be Kirstie’s fault though and even though her actual size may be bigger than a 4, she might not be lying about it. In fact, the designers may be lying to her! Gunn explained on the air:
“There is a phenomenon out there right now that I call the lying deceptive shell game of vanity sizing. In fact a 4 is really a 6 or an 8.”
Tim may have outed her dress size, but he wasn’t trying to be malicious. The television personality went on to compliment her figure, saying:
“She looks fabulous. People are too size conscious. It’s all about how you look and more importantly how do you look in your clothes!”
We couldn’t agree more! Truth be told, we don’t care what size dress Kirstie Alley is. We just want her to feel great in the skin she’s in and enjoy her new body!
