The last thing Tim Tebow needs to be doing is running plays backwards, throwing passes to empty patches of field.
When he was only 7, his mom had him tested for learning disabilities and his IQ.
The results said he was dyslexic.
Tebow said:
“There├óΓé¼Γäós a lot of people that have certain processing disabilities and it has nothing to do with your intelligence, which I think is a big misconception that people have. Coach [Rex] Ryan has dyslexia. He├óΓé¼Γäós one of the most intelligent football coaches around. I├óΓé¼Γäóve always tried to share, especially with kids, to be confident with it. You know, ‘hey, this isn├óΓé¼Γäót something that├óΓé¼Γäós a handicap. You just have to learn how you learn and overcome it. It├óΓé¼Γäós something that you can be better off because of, because you know how you learn.'”
That’s great! He turned a negative into a positive.
Many people go through life without having to learn how they learn best.
He found out he learns best by doing things instead of just listening to someone tell him how to do something.
Sounds like he’s in a pretty good profession then!
