As always, Tina Fey always knows the right thing to say.
The other night, Alec Baldwin was honored by the Museum of the Moving Images in New York for his many years in the acting biz and all he’s brought to it. A slew of peeps made moving speeches about Alec’s long career and superb skill, but it was Tina Fey who really put into perspective what Alec has done as an actor.
After giving a very heartfelt and not surprisingly funny speech, Tina ended her remarks with this sentiment to Alec:
“Alec, on behalf of the cast and crew of 30 Rock, we honor you tonight. Our show would not have gotten on the air without you. It would not have remained on the air without you. I shudder to think what low-rent Two and a Half Men show we would have without you.”
HA! Genius! Such a way with words this one has!
Well, depending on who they get to replace Charlie Sheen, you might just get to see what a “low-rent Two and a Half Men” looks like!
