We’re all saddened by the passing of the legendary Elaine Stritch.
Celebrities who both knew her and knew of her took to Twitter to remember the incredible actress and her impeccable work.
Well, Tina Fey (who worked with her on 30 Rock) has joined her colleagues in mourning Elaine and she did it in the best way possible…
By honoring her memory while also managing to make you laugh!
She said:
‘Elaine was a ‘tough old bird,’ but I suspect she may have been a ‘tough old bird’ since birth. I loved her voice, her timing, her stories and her natural elegance.
One day she was wearing a beautiful butterfly cocktail ring, and when I admired it, she gave it to me on the spot ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ like an Arab sheik in black pantyhose. I feel very lucky to have worked with her as much as I did.’
LOL! We can TOTALLY picture that happening! What a legend!
Man, the entertainment industry really has lost a gem who will truly be missed!
