This makes us appreciate Tina Fey even more!
In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Tina Fey’s husband, Jeff Richmond, tells the mag the origins of Miz Fey’s facial scar that runs down her left cheek.
Her face was slashed by a stranger when she as only 5-years old!
That must have been so traumatizing!
“It was in, like, the front yard of her house, and somebody who just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen. That scar was fascinating to me. This is somebody who, no matter what it was, has gone through something. And I think it really informs the way she thinks about her life.”
The Emmy winner says she doesn’t like to talk about the incident because, “it’s impossible to talk about it without somehow seemingly exploiting it and glorifying it.”
She goes on to say that she never felt like an ugly duckling because of it, “It’s really almost like I’m kind of able to forget about it, until I was on-camera, and it became a thing of ‘Oh, I guess we should use this side’ or whatever.”
Nothing can stop the greatness that is Tina!
