It’s no secret that Zayn Malik is one of the biggest solo acts on the planet right now.
After defecting from One Direction, the 23-year-old musician shocked the world by debuting at No. 1 on Billboard with his single Pillowtalk, proving once-and-for-all that Harry Styles was not the only soloist in the group.
But while Zayn may be conquering the charts, it doesn’t seem like his nonchalant attitude is doing him any favors with the rest of the industry.
That’s because after multiple missed on-air appearances, he’s starting to piss off his label mates — like Tinashe, for example.

The 2 On singer shares RCA with the former 1D member, but one of her personal conversations with fans that leaked online recently shows that she’s a little annoyed with all the preferential treatment he’s been getting!
She even goes as far as saying they’re so focused on “Zany” that they aren’t helping her with her upcoming Joyride World Tour at all!
Of course, “Zany” may have been an autocorrect and not a legit jab…
Though she did just have to release her single Party Favors on her own, so we’re inclined to believe that she has a legitimate complaint and isn’t just jealous of his success.

Still, Zayn was literally a part of the modern day Beatles, so we’re not shocked that he’s getting better treatment than his lesser known peers — it just sucks because Tinashe actually has a lot of talent she could be showcasing with more backing from her record label.
Maybe a nice collab between the two could fix all these problems??
