If you’re watching your weight and are on the way to a happy hour with friends, here are a few tips:
1. Avoid fruity drinks like pi├â┬▒a colada! Some are half a day’s worth of calories and sugar!
2. Avoid mixing drinks with diet soda. Researchers found alcohol enters the blood stream faster when mixed with diet drinks. The quicker we get tipsy, the faster we lose our inhibitions (and forget why we didn’t order the 466 calorie pi├â┬▒a colada)!
3. Try sake! 1.5 ounces of this Japanese rice wine is only 60 calories compared to the 95 calories found in the same amount of vodka!
