And when it comes to the box office, KING HE IS!!
Thanks to the 3D re-release, Titanic has now made over TWO BILLION dollars worldwide!!
That boat made $100 million this past weekend (dayum gurl), totaling the current worldwide success of the 3D version at $190.8 million!!
So when you add that to the original release’s $1.84 billion (and that was back when ticket prices were $5.50 in some places), you get a whopping $2.03 BILLION total… and that’s just so far!
Titanic currently holds second place, but at this rate, it could very well pass Avatar as the highest-grossing film of all time!
Gah! Just like that heart Celine Dion kept singing about, this movie WILL go ON AND OOOoOoOooNNN!!!
