T.J. Miller's The Gorburger Show Is D-O-N-E At Comedy Central!

tj miller comedy central show canceled
Good timing, Comedy Central.
Mere hours after sexual assault allegations against comedian T.J. Miller made headlines, Comedy Central announced its decision to cancel the funny man’s series, The Gorburger Show. Man, oh man.

While the former Silicon Valley star has been hit with a troubling controversy, a source close to the network has claimed to Entertainment Weekly that Comedy Central decided to end the show earlier in the year. The Gorburger Show, which ran for one season, is an extension of the ’12 Funny or Die web series. The premise of the show featured a blue monster (voiced by Miller) taking over a Japanese television station.
T.J. also served as an executive producer for the show.
Regardless of when CC chose to end TGS, we’re sure they’re happy to distance themselves from the scandalized stand-up expert. In case you missed it, for a sit down with The Daily Beast, an unnamed woman came forward to accuse the industry vet of sexually assaulting her during their time together at George Washington University.
Miller has since denied the allegations as he (with his wife, Kate‘s support) wrote on Instagram:

“We met this woman over a decade ago while studying together in college, she attempted to break us up back then by plotting for over a year before making contradictory claims and accusations… She attempted to discredit both of our voices and use us against one another by trying to portray Kate to be a continuous abuse victim of T.J. (further efforts to hurt the two of us). She was asked to leave our university comedy group because of worrisome and disturbing behavior, which angered her immensely, she then became fixated on our relationship, and began telling people around campus ├óΓé¼╦£I’m going to destroy them’ & ├óΓé¼╦£I’m going to ruin him.'”

Huh…
We doubt this is the last we’ve heard about this scandal. Be sure to check back for updates.
