Yesterday, Ann Curry made her tearful goodbye from the morning show and just one day later, Savannah Guthrie filled her chair!!

Way to not address the ginormous elephant in the room, LOLz!
Seems we might not even get a formal announcement of Savannah’s new role DURING the show, either — both Matt Lauer AND Al Roker are oh so conveniently going on vacay next week for the Fourth!
NBC is planning on putting out a press release announcing Savannah’s promotion later today!!
On the other hand, we’re sure Matt Lauer’s wife is glad his new co-host isn’t Natalie Morales!
We miss Ann already!!!!
