You are now NOT free to pee about the cabin.
A JetBlue flight had been on the tarmac for 30 minutes when Jennifer Devereaux was denied access to bring her crying 3-year old daughter to the bathroom.
Of course, it came as no surprise when said 3-year old peed said self in said seat!
Uh, clean up on aisle… well, there’s only one aisle, so aisle one?
According to Jennifer, the staff was none too nice in dealing with what we think is a pretty reasonable request:
├óΓé¼┼ôShe snapped at me, ├óΓé¼╦£No sit down.├óΓé¼Γäó…And I said, ├óΓé¼╦£please give me a break. My daughter had an accident because you wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót let me take her to the bathroom. After I clean it up I will sit down.├óΓé¼Γäó She turned around and reported it to the pilot.”
Luckily an off-duty pilot was able to stick up for her, just as the plane was being brought back to the gate because of a “non-compliant passenger” aboard.
As a result of all this, JetBlue finally issued an apology after Jennifer demanded a response to the event:
“Our team reached out directly to the customer today to offer an apology for her experience.├óΓé¼┬¥
On top of that, they gave her a $50 credit, and a $5,000 donation to her favorite charity.
Jennifer responded on Twitter that justice had finally landed:
“Happy tears… a really nice lady apologized to me!├óΓé¼┬¥
We hope the kid in question isn’t too scarred by airline travel, as if airline travel wasn’t already scarring enough to begin with!
