Tom Brady said WHAT on a live broadcast over the weekend?!?!
The retired athlete has come under fire on social media for dropping an ableist slur on Fox Sports during the Buffalo Bills game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. While talking about Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Tom tried to compliment his improvement on the field. Nice, right? Well, he did so by spewing a highly offensive word. What was it? He said the 28-year-old used to play “like a s**z” at times.
Yeah, sadly, we are not kidding. He said this:
“Sometimes he played like a s**z, like a grade-schooler on a sugar high, but now he’s controlled the chaos. He’s like a storm coming into town and you don’t want that storm coming into this town.”

Not cool, Tom. The derogatory word is a derivation of the term spastic and is often used to discriminate against people with disabilities. So, the second the slur came out of Brady’s mouth, viewers clocked it and slammed him online! People wrote on X (Twitter):
“Highly offensive to people who have physical disabilities as well as their loved ones.”
“I thought I heard that! Someone’s gotta tell him he can’t say that on tv.”
“Brady really just said a player played like a s**zz… Ew.”
“The ‘spaz’ comment was uncalled for”
“I think he said Josh Allen has to ‘just not play like a s**z’ which somehow seems even worse to me. Sickening that that word is even in his vocabulary!”
It is freakin’ 2024!! Do better, Tom Brady.
At this time, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers player has not addressed the controversy. Neither has Josh. Thoughts, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments (below)…
