Since Katie Holmes left him, his passion for Lord Xenu and The Church of Scientology has started to lose it’s luster, causing a big ‘ole void in Tommy’s life.
He needs something to restore his mojo, something to remind him that he is mother*cking Maverick! And that something is his old pal Cameron!
An insider says Tommy has been crushing on his Vanilla Sky co-star ever since they reconnected at her 40th B-Day party, telling sources:
“Tom and Cameron get on really well. Tom thinks Cameron is beautiful, intelligent and a lot of fun. He’d love for them to be more than friends. Tom’s felt so low since his divorce and Cameron’s company has really cheered him up.”

We are THRILLED to hear the depressed actor has a ray of sunlight in his dark day!
The only problem: Cam isn’t 100% ready to get into the Risky Business of dating Tom “I-like-to-jump-on-couches-when-I’m-in-love” Cruise.
The insider explains:
“Cameron loves spending time with Tom, but in many ways she sees him as a brother figure. At the moment she’s just enjoying reconnecting with an old friend.”
