As we promised, more and more weird details about the relationship between Scientology and Tom Cruise‘s love life are erupting from Maureen Orth‘s volcanic Vanity Fair expos├â┬⌐.
Even though Church officials told Nazanin Boniadi that she was getting the boot from his life because he wanted “someone with her own power” like Nicole Kidman, it turns out that the Church NEVER approved of her either!
In fact, it sounds like Cruise’s marriage to Kidman was doomed from the start because his religion considered the Catholic a “Suppressive Person” who was a threat to his spiritual well-being!
The organization was so afraid of her influence that a church member was tasked with keeping an eye on her. After losing her grip on the actress, she was punished with manual labor and was even forced to sleep on the floor!

Kidman got the worst punishment of all, however. The Church managed to turn her own adopted kids against her! An ex-Scientologist says Connor and Bella were enrolled in a course on “S.P.’s” which led to them rejecting her after the divorce.
Pen├â┬⌐lope Cruz, the actor’s next gal, never stood a chance in the eyes of the Church either. Not only was she a devout Budhist with no intentions of joining Scientology, but she was condescendingly labeled as a “dilettante” — a person with an amateur interest in the arts.
It was after that three year relationship when the now-missing Shelly Miscavige launched her operation to find Cruise a girlfriend that was Scientology approved. One of the actresses which allegedly auditioned for the role (possibly Sofia Vergara or Scarlett Johansson) was actually eliminated because she revealed she had a threesome, which is NOT an approved practice by the Church.
Whoever decided to unveil her ménage à trois history is probably thanking her lucky stars that she did because she successfully avoided getting involved in this mess!
