Oh, you thought Tom Cruise would just let Katie Holmes run free prance around NYC with little Suri WITHOUT putting up a fight?

While Katie has been spotted out and about with their six-year old daughter, Tom’s been plotting ways to score temporary visitation rights!
Reportedly, Cruise is planning on going to court in El Lay to make the plea in person!
Maybe he thinks his charm will win the court over???
A source explains:
“Tom has told Dennis and Bert Fields, his long-time entertainment lawyer, that his first priority is getting a court order in place, obviously a temporary one, that will allow him to legally see his daughter. Team Cruise has extensive documentation to prove that Los Angeles is where the case should proceed, because this is where he says they have lived.├óΓé¼┬¥
As we reported previously, Tom flew back to Los Angeles on Tuesday to celebrate his 50th birthday, all while Katie and Suri had an ice cream date in NYC!
The source adds:
“Suri knew it was his birthday on Tuesday, and she said she had made a card for him and made him a gift, and it just tore at his heart.”
Tom will most likely file for divorce in California by the end of this week and is supposedly discussing the “possibility of pursuing full legal custody” of Suri.
According to an insider, Cruise’s lawyer also plans on requesting an order for Suri to return to Los Angeles ASAP and one where she won’t be allowed to travel out of state without permission from each parent.
Katie’s NYC lawyers, on the other hand, are preparing for the worst and have been in contact with divorce attorneys in California as well.
Dayum…this divorce dramz is definitely getting interesting…!!! We can only hope that Suri is shielded from all of the mess!
