Here’s one less drama to see played out in court.
You may recall that Tom Cruise was suing In Touch and Life & Style for printing statements that he considered to be libelous regarding Suri!
Well, they’ve settled all of their disputes, and the lawsuit has been dismissed!
Both sides gave a joint statement that read:
“Bauer Publishing, as well as In Touch and Life & Style magazines, never intended to communicate that Tom Cruise had cut off all ties and abandoned his daughter, Suri, and regret if anyone drew that inference from anything they published.├óΓé¼┬¥
Things were getting cray cray when Cruise had to prove malice and looked into Bauer├óΓé¼Γäós Nazi ties, since he├óΓé¼Γäós a Scientologist. Bauer researched Suri├óΓé¼Γäós mental health records, how Scientology affected Tom’s relationship with his daughter and how much contact he had with her.
In the end, it was all a moot point and they settled everything themselves, with each side agreeing to pay their own legal fees.
This seems like a huge waste of time for everyone, but at least no further harm was done!
