Tom Cruise has major mummy issues!!
And he’s also dealing with one relentless undead b*tch in the new trailer for The Mummy!
The action-packed trailer shows a glimpse of a much darker reboot, featuring Cruise literally PLUMMETING TO HIS DEATH on a plane carrying the tomb of an ancient princess.

We also get a look at Russell Crowe as Dr. Jekyll, Annabelle Wallis as the hottest archeologist since Indiana Jones, and Sofia Boutella as the enchanted Princess Ahmanet — who clearly wakes up on the wrong side of the crypt and causes all sorts of chaos!
The cray trailer also serves as a hell of an introduction to Universal‘s relaunch of the monster movie library, with the creepy promise:
“Welcome to a new world of gods├óΓé¼┬ª and monsters.”
