Who wouldn’t be flattered??
Jay-Z is a HUGE name in the music world, so any sort of shout out from him is typically greeted with enthusiasm and spasms of joy!
So naturally, Tom Ford was tickled pink when he heard Mr. Carter not only named a song after him on Magna Carta Holy Grail, but name checked him multiple times.
The designer told Billboard:
“I am completely flattered. I mean, come on, who would not want a Jay-Z song named after them?”
See?? That’s what we’re saying!
Perhaps Tom Ford will return the favor and name a suit line after Jay-Z. We can hope, LOLz!
