Add Tom Ford to the list of designers who are bitching and moaning to the press.
He was recently quoted in Time Out Hong Kong going off about celebrities who use their children for press, but unlike Alaia who doesn’t give an eff about pissing specific people off, Ford was a little more discrete.
Tom says:
“If I have children, no one will know about it until the child is born and no one will ever see the child because I certainly wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót use it as a press tool. If I have a child, you├óΓé¼Γäóll see and notice that I had a child. Maybe you├óΓé¼Γäóll see it when it├óΓé¼Γäós 18, but I will keep it out of the spotlight. I wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót use it as a press tool, as some people I know, have, recently.”
Many think he’s taking a dig at Rachel Zoe, but we’re not so sure that’s the case.
The last time we checked the two were still on good terms since an 8 month pregnant stylist attended the opening of his Beverly Hills store in February.
Even if it is, we think Tom has his own problems to deal with like referring to his future child as “it” more than 5 times.
Just sayin’.
