Tom Hanks Speaks Up About His Son Chet's Struggle With Drug Addiction

As we previously reported, Tom Hanks‘ son, Chet, revealed he’s currently in rehab for his past drug abuse, opening up about on Instagram.

And it really sounds like he’s on the path to recovery!
So, what is his Oscar-winning dad thinking about it all??
Well, at the Bridge Of Spies premiere in New York City on Monday, Tom opened up, confessing:

“As a parent, you love your kids unconditionally. You support them every step of the way. You got to applaud the bravery and honesty when it actually comes out of your own house.”

It’s amazing to hear him so supportive, especially since it must be so tough for him to see his son struggling.
Hopefully Chet sees his sweet message in rehab! There’s nothing like the support of your family.
