Not long after Tom Sizemore‘s sexual misconduct scandal hit the press, the industry vet was dropped from an upcoming horror-thriller project, titled The Door.

As we previously reported, in a troubling expose by The Hollywood Reporter, it was revealed that Sizemore was removed from a movie set in 2003 for allegedly molesting an 11-year-old girl. In response to the allegation, the producers thought it best to remove Tom from the upcoming horror movie.
The Global Genesis Group shared via a spokesperson:

“The producers take these allegations very seriously and are discussing next steps now.”

Good.
It’s said The Door tells the story of a married couple who move into a home where, in the late ’50s, a doctor and his young son were killed in a terrible fire. According to the 55-year-old’s IMDB page, Tom was slated to play the character Scott.
Sizemore is probably best known for his parts in Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down. He was recently featured in David Lynch’s Twin Peaks revival.
Perhaps Christopher Plummer is interested in taking over this role?? We mean, he is already taking over Kevin Spacey‘s part in All The Money In The World.
Just a suggestion
