It looks like Hollywood couples aren’t the only relationships to be riddled with scandal.
Tony Hawk has left his wife, Lhotse Merriam, for the wife of his best friend and business partner!
That can’t be good for the family business.
The iconic skateboarder, with a successful line of video games under his belt, had been lifelong friends with Matt Goodman and it looks like he has now stabbed him in the back after stealing his wife of 20 years!
Merriam uncovered her husbands affair in December after she discovered a plane ticket Hawk had booked for his best friend’s lady, Cathy Goodman, to join him in San Francisco.
Trying to keep their personal lives private, the couple released a statement saying:
“We remain deeply committed and loving parents to our daughter, and out of respect for that responsibility we ask that people honor our family’s privacy during this important time of transition.”

Hawk and Goodman founded the action sports movie company 900 Films together and sources said Goodman stood as a groomsman at every one of Hawk’s three weddings.
Ugh…truly brutal to have this happen to such good friends, but we wish all parties the best as they try to cope with each others decisions and reconcile as peacefully as possible.
