The peeps at Pixar just announced a all NEW Halloween-themed Toy Story movie is in the works!
No, this is NOT Toy Story 4. Unlike the three Buzz and Woody flicks of yesteryear, the new animated flick, Toy Story of Terror, will skip the theaters and premiere as a holiday TV special.
Here’s the new synopsis:
“What starts out as a fun road trip for the Toy Story gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this Toy Story of Terror.”
That sounds more terrifying than Sid’s bedroom!
We are thrilled and spooked about the new Toy-filled adventure… but sadly we’ll have to maintain this excitement for a whole YEAR before the special airs in Oct. 2013.
Oh well!
At least that means we have TONZ more promos and new batch of Toy Story merchandise to buy in the coming year!
