This is SO sad!
Actor Tracy Morgan was in a limo bus early on Saturday morning when it was involved in a six-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike, and he’s in critical condition.
The accident happened in Mercer County, where police think a tractor-trailer hit the bus, causing it to turn over. Sgt. Gregory Williams explained:
“The limo bus is the only vehicle that overturned. Looks like one of the tractor-trailers may have rear-ended that limo bus, but that’s preliminary at this time.”
There were two tractor-trailers and an SUV involved in the accident, which tragically left James McNair, a passenger on the bus, dead.
The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital spokesman, Peter Haigney, revealed that there are four patients being treated at the hospital; one is in stable condition, and the other three are critical. Police confirmed that the 30 Rock actor is among those in critical condition.
The only other details known are that Morgan had performed at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino Friday night, and that alcohol doesn’t seem to have played a part in this accident.
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved! We’ll continue to keep you updated!
