Travis Kelce is silencing the haters!
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end became a lightning rod for criticism over the weekend after he was spotted on a romantic double date with Taylor Swift, his teammate Patrick Mahomes, and his wife Brittany Mahomes. After Taylor arrived in New Orleans on Friday, the four made their way to local French restaurant Lilette, where they enjoyed “an intimate dinner” for several hours. But while Swifties may have been overjoyed to see the meetup, many NFL fans came down Trav for appearing “unfocused” before the big Super Bowl game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. On X (Twitter), people wrote things like:
“Careful, Travis. You have a game this weekend.”
“Normally the players do not go out the week before they are playing in the Super Bowl because of how seriously they take the game, or so I’m told. Even saw an old clip of that Kelce guy saying that.”
“Not following [Tom] Brady’s advice for winning.”
“Unfocused”
“Turning NFL to showbiz”
“Ridiculous”
Yikes!
And it seems Travis has seen some of the backlash, because he’s here to remind you just how ready he is!

On Saturday, he took to Instagram to share a hyped-up highlight reel of some VERY impressive moments on the field to remind fans what a titan he truly is. And possibly in a subtle dig at haters, he reminded them, “Don’t peak too soon!!” — maybe his way of pointing out that it’s okay to enjoy life outside of football, too?? Or a tease for his performance on Sunday?? See his post (below):
