Wait… what?!
Could Travis Kelce be following in the footsteps of his brother Jason and hanging up his NFL jersey for good?? In Wednesday’s episode of the New Heights podcast, the 35-year-old athlete reminisced on this past Sunday’s game where the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Cleveland Browns:
“I just love that city, man. It was so fun. When we flew in, I felt like a tour guide. I was telling everybody every single city that we were going past, every monument, every building.”
Could the Ohio native be feeling a little homesick? Maybe so!

But what really shocked listeners was when Trav hinted at his possible retirement. After talking about some memories of his hometown, he said:
“I don’t know if it’s the last time I’ll ever play in Cleveland, but it kinda felt like I was just giving it one last hurrah before I’m done because I’ve only played there twice in 12 years.”
Whoa! Well, at the very least, considering his age, we shouldn’t expect to see Taylor Swift‘s boyfriend on the field in another 6 or so years…
He even went on to say that unless the Chiefs play the Browns again in the “next couple” years he probably won’t be seeing the inside of Huntington Bank Field ever again as an active player:
“It was just a special day for me, personally, man.”
Ch-ch-check it out around the 8:23 timestamp (below):
Could we be seeing a Travis NFL retirement coming up in the next few years tho?! Those comments definitely caught our attention, that’s for sure!
