This explains a bit more about Travis Scott‘s decision!
The rapper is confirmed to be participating alongside Maroon 5 and Big Boi at the 2019 Super Bowl halftime show early next month, but because the show — and the NFL — have become so controversial, Kylie Jenner‘s baby daddy wanted to get something out of the deal.

In a selfless, inspiring act, Scott insisted that he’d only perform in the show on one condition, per Vulture: that the NFL make a $500,000 donation to the charity of his choice!!!
In a statement about that decision, the rapper said:
“I back anyone who takes a stand for what they believe in. I know being an artist that it’s in my power to inspire. So before confirming the Super Bowl Halftime performance, I made sure to partner with the NFL on this important donation. I am proud to support Dream Corps and the work they do that will hopefully inspire and promote change.”
That’s right — Scott’s charity of choice was Dream Corps, a non-profit social justice organization that works on initiatives in environmental areas, prison sentencing reform, teaching young people how to program computers and code for job skills, and other things.
