It’s Trevor’s turn!
Last night marked the beginning of a new era for The Daily Show — one with Trevor Noah behind the big desk instead of seasoned vet Jon Stewart who ended his run after 26 years back in August.

That’s right, it was the premiere of The Daily Show with a new host, and Noah wasn’t too shabby for his first night on the air!
Throughout the show he made several references to Stewart calling him “political dad,” even joking:
“I can only assume this is as strange for you as it is for me… Dad has left. Now it feels like the family has a new stepdad. And he’s black. Which is not ideal.”
