Trump FIRES Kristi Noem After Disastrous ICE Testimony!

Just announced: Donald Trump FIRES controversial Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem after countless ICE scandals, controversies, and days of testimony by her that were so bad even Republicans denounced it! The President revealed the news in a Truth Social post on Thursday announcing he has appointed Senator Markwayne Mullin as Noem’s successor:

“I am pleased to announce that the Highly Respected United States Senator from the Great State of Oklahoma, Markwayne Mullin, will become the United States Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS), effective March 31, 2026.”

Trump went on to praise Noem before announcing she’s being relocated to a new Security Initiative:

“The current Secretary, Kristi Noem, who has served us well, and has had numerous and spectacular results (especially on the Border!), will be moving to be Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas, our new Security Initiative in the Western Hemisphere we are announcing on Saturday in Doral, Florida. I thank Kristi for her service at “Homeland.’”

While the President may be making nice publicly, his decision comes after Noem’s disastrous ICE operations, which have resulted in countless botched deportations, imprisonments, and deaths, including that of Minneapolis mother-of-three Renee Nicole Good and ICU nurse Alex Pretti, both US citizens. It’s been reported that Trump has been “furious” with her for days now.

On Tuesday, Noem began day one of a train wreck testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, where she defended both her shocking immigration control methods and questionable $220 MILLION deportation media contract, which has largely been spent boosting her own personal image.

Additionally, Noem’s relationship with Corey Lewandowski, a longtime associate whom she appointed as chief advisor at the DHS, was called into question — between his questionable influence and allegations the two are engaged in a romantic affair, Noem was raked over the coals. All this to be said, Trump has reportedly been extremely unhappy with her performance in the role and her disastrous deposition. But the straw that reportedly broke the camel’s back specifically has to do with Noem’s handling of the ad campaign, which she claimed Trump knew about her decision to approve. In response, a White House official has told NBC News that Trump did NOT sign off on the campaign. On Trump’s stance with Noem, a DHS spokesperson said:

“Secretary Noem serves at the pleasure of the President. She is honored to serve the American people and lead DHS. Under her leadership, we have the most secure border in American history, 3 million illegal aliens left the United States, and we now have the lowest murder rate in 125 years.”

However, Senator John N. Kennedy described Trump as “pissed.”
