UPDATE 12/21/18 2:37 EST: The number of businesses has now grown to at least 26, as Samsung, Lexus, United, Career Builder, SodaStream, Robitussin, Mint Mobile, 23&Me, SanDisk, and Graze have all dropped the show.

Tucker Carlson is the latest Fox News personality to get so vile his own advertisers abandon ship.
In case you missed it — and by all means, you should be missing everything this man says — on last Thursday’s show the (journalist?) went on a rant against the “immigration crisis”.

At one point he got blatantly xenophobic by saying immigrants coming into the country made the U.S. “poorer and dirtier and more divided.”
What is wrong with these people??
Oh, right. Racism.
Insurance company Pacific Life got the ball rolling on Friday, tweeting out a statement making clear they “strongly disagree” with the statements and suspending their advertising on the show:

As of this writing, 16 companies had told TheWrap they’d dropped the show:
Jaguar, IHOP, Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, TD Ameritrade, Just For Men, United Explorer, ScotteVest, Voya Financial, Zenni Optical, Indeed, Bowflex, SmileDirectClub, NerdWallet, Minted, and Ancestry.com had all joined Pacific Life in a mass exodus.
Carlson responded to the fleeing companies on Monday night’s show, saying:
“You’ve seen it a million times, it happens all the time. The enforcers scream ‘racist’ on Twitter, until everyone gets intimidated and changes the subject to the Russia investigation or some other distraction. It’s a tactic, a well worn one. And it won’t work with the show, we’re not intimidated. We plan to say what’s true until the last day.”
Right, right. That, or… you’re saying things that are racist.
Notice how they only respond to the “leftists” who decry their racism and never the neo-Nazis and Klan members who applaud it. Are they making it up as a “distraction” too?
Any other network would see this for the PR disaster it is and at the very least force their employee to apologize — if they didn’t cancel the show entirely.
However, just like they did with Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham, Fox News has taken no action — they even defended Carlson, calling the outrage “a grossly hypocritical double standard.”
Yeah, weird how companies never start boycotts against ANTI-racism rants. So unfair.
Is there any better proof Fox News is a shameless right wing propaganda network than the fact they’re willing to keep on shows without advertising money?
And they say liberals are against capitalism…
