Ohhh you better clutch your wand tight Harry Potter, ’cause the Twilight vamps are coming for that ass!!
Unsurprisingly, it seems the final installment in the Twilight franchise, Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, is going to make SO much lovely box-office gold!
THOUSANDS of shows are already sold out across North America for Friday’s opening, and based on pre-ticket sales, the film is expected to make $130 – $150 million over the weekend!
BUT, will that $$$ be enough to suck the box office blood from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2‘s EPIC, record breaking opening?!?!
Well, as of now, no.
HPandtheDH2 garnered an impressive $168.5 million during it’s initial opening, and unless Twihards see the movie multiple times this weekend — which is VERY possible — it seems Twilight‘s final film won’t stand up to Mr. Potter’s box office charm…
But hey, in the long run, Twilight could totally plunge its fangs into Harry’s earnings! Just be patient Twihards and go and see the film like… ten times each!
