We just don’t know WHO to believe!!
Less than five years after the first Twilight film was released and still months away from Breaking Dawn: Part 2, we find ourselves entrenched in Twilight reboot drama.
Sigh.
On the one hand, Lionsgate vehemently denies rumors of a Twilight remake being considered by the studio that gave it life.
Studio executive Rob Friedman said:
“We are not remaking Twilight. We will happily support Stephenie Meyer if she decides to proceed in any way. But this will be the last one unless that should change.├óΓé¼┬¥
On the other hand, rumors persist a reboot is possible depending on how Mz. Meyer wants to proceed.
Hmmm.
If she wants to write a whole new slew of books about seksy supernaturals made angst-ridden by purity rings — we support that!!
At the very least, they would at least lead to more Fifty Shades-esque spin-offs, LOLz!!
If Meyers instead decides to re-release the Twilight series, as some sources are suggest she is already considering, we understand that line of thinking too.
Writing is hard, after all! Why try and re-bottle lightning if you don’t need to??
We just need to know how KStew and RPatz fit into all this — no one would dare offend Twi-hards by making films without them, would they?
