Twinkies Coming To A Store Near You THIS SUMMER!!

We were worried about the fate of Twinkies for a while there — and even though we’re totally aware that they’re unhealthy and people shouldn’t eat them often at all, they ARE iconic! We didn’t want to see that go!
So we’re pumped to hear that Hostess Brands, LLC has announced plans to re-launch its bakery in Columbus! The plans right now are to add about 300 jobs in the area over the next several years! It’s like they’re a phoenix, rising from the ashes! LOLz!
Operations are on track to resume THIS SUMMER, meaning that a bunch of the snack products will go back into production, including Twinkies, landing in stores sometime in July!
How did this happen, you ask? Well, remember when barely anyone bid on the Hostess assets? The group that DID, Apollo Global Management, LLC and Metropoulos & Co., are supporting the operations! They will begin recruiting for production, sanitation, distribution, maintenance engineering and management positions online and at a job fair April 27! So hey, if you’re looking to go into the bakery business… here’s your big break! Ha!
